World “week” of prayer will begin Sunday, September 8 and go thru Saturday, September 14, 2024 at our Spiritual Center. There will be many opportunities and many ways for you to participate in this powerful time of sacredness. This year’s affirmation is: "Fueled by faith, I can move mountains!"
During the week of prayer you are invited to spend time in the sanctuary praying for those who have submitted prayer lists.
Wednesday Sept.11: 6:30-7:30pm & Thursday Sept. 12: 8:00am thru 8:00pm.

Sunday September 8:
11:00-12:00 am, Join Kim Ford for Meditation and Rev Rose, Larry Etheredge, Mark Klotz and Cay Tomerlin for service as they provide different spiritual meanings of the word mountains. You will be able to join in Gonna Build a Mountain with our music team.
12:30pm: Brian Baskett will focus the healing service on Moving Mountains.
1:45 pm: Higher Ground will head to hike at Sand Run Park were they will begin their walk high on a hill, go into the valley and return to the top.
7:00pm-A Course In Miracles, Virtual, with Larry Etheredge will break from the normal meeting discussion & focus on Moving Mountains from the Course perspective.
Monday September 9:
6:30pm-Monday Movie Night in the Sanctuary: Featured Movie is with Hugh Grant, When an Englishmen goes up a Hill and comes down a Mountain. It is a light comedy and gives a different perspective on Mountains…building one instead of moving it. There will be popcorn and drinks served.
Tuesday September 10:
6:45-8:45 OM in the Sanctuary will tie into the theme Moving Mountains. Information about the Sacred Mountains in our world will be shared. Dispersed through the presentation will be 12 Blessings prayers from the Aetherius Society , founded by Dr. King George Yoga. These prayers are healing prayers as well as Blessings.
Wednesday September 11:
4:00-5:00pm Kim Ford will focus on Moving Mountains during Chair Yoga.
6:30pm-Rev. Rose Houston will do a small ceremony honoring 9-11.
6:45-7:30pm The Sanctuary will be opened to pray for all of those who are on the prayer lists.
Thursday September 12:
8:00am to 8:00pm- The Sanctuary will be opened to pray for all of those who are on the prayer lists.
10:00am to 12:00pm-ARE will be spending their meeting in the sanctuary to pray.
Friday September 13:

Saturday September 14:
9:00-11:00am Community Breakfast in Fellowship Hall followed with a discussion of how mountains were moved, embraced and built during the week.
8:00am-12:00am-take an opportunity to do a Mindfulness Meditation Walk on the grounds or in the sanctuary focusing on any mountains that needs moved at the Centre.
